Easy Little Saigon was initially launched in the Spring of 2006. Its intentions were to be a fun, casual site where visitors could find lopsided information about restaurants and some businesses located in the Little Saigon area of Orange County.
This initial iteration of the site catered to the obvious distinctions between businesses that were “American-friendly” and those that were still only targeted towards the more traditional Vietnamese-speaking community. The site’s popularity escalated quickly as it became an outsider’s quick and dirty guide to Little Saigon.
Using Easy OC as the basis, Tao Logic has revamped Easy Little Saigon to have the same structure. It now allows visitors to have maps to their favorite Little Saigon spots as well as the ability to add in their own comments.
In due time, Easy Little Saigon will be tweaked so that its look and feel will be more catered towards its intended audience. It will still have much of the same casual, fun information it was initially started with, but will also have the organization that it was lacking.
Easy Little Saigon will be fully operational by the end of 1st Quarter 2007.
